The African Physics Newsletter is a new quarterly electronic publication launched in March, 2019. It is a newsletter, produced by and for African physicists, with editorial board members representing North, South, East, and West Africa. The idea for the newsletter came from the Physics in Africa survey done by APS that reached out to physicists and physics institutions across Africa. One of the needs expressed by all respondents was a Pan-African physics communications vehicle, as well as a means for fostering communication among the diaspora community, international physicists and physicists residing in Africa. The publication will facilitate communication among physicists across Africa and highlight physics news and research from the continent to a broader international community. The newsletter is open to all Africans and non-Africans and is free of charge. We invite all who are interested in African Physics to subscribe.
